Eligibility

Hack@URI Mini HackDay is open to:

  • All undergraduate and graduate students (no experience required!)

  • Participants attending in person at the University of Rhode Island

  • Individuals or teams (3 MAX per team)

You don’t need to be a computer science major — students from all disciplines are encouraged to join and explore how AI and Google Gemini can power creative solutions.

Project and Submission Requirements

Create a project that uses Google Gemini in an interesting or impactful way. You can build:

  • A web or mobile app powered by the Gemini API

  • A creative AI tool or experience that blends text, image, or code

  • A simple prototype that shows what’s possible with Gemini in your field (e.g., education, health, sustainability, creativity)

No need for a full product — even an early-stage prototype or demo is perfect.

Submissions are due by 4:00 PM EST on Devpost.
